GROUNDED SERIES
WHEN UP IS DOWN AND DOWN IS UP
Grounded manifested during my escapes from the confines of the city to inhale the ocean air. Allured by bluff edges I discovered a balance between urban unease and coastal serenity. Whether a hang glider floated above, or a beach dweller sunbathed below we were all inexplicably enticed by the edges of our environment. The minute figures within my compositions began to symbolize a shared awe of our myopic insignificance when compared to the magnitude of the expansive universe we inhabit.
